Blue Door Gallery Director, Steve Ralph, visited the Northern Territory early this month and spent a couple of days at Yuendumu and Papunya, approximately 300 kilometres north west of Alice Springs.
Steve spent time with many Indigenous artists on his visit including Judy Watson Napangardi and Shorty Robertson (pictured). As a result he was able to bring back some beautiful works to add to the Blue Door stockroom.
High profile artist Dorothy Napangardi is due back at Blue Door as artist in residence in the next few weeks after spending 3 weeks at the gallery earlier in the year. Dorothy has been painting beautifully so we'll keep you updated on her next visit so you can come in and watch her paint and have a chat.

In what is a very busy time at the gallery high profile Utopian artists GLORIA PETYARRE and GRACIE MORTON PWERLE are expected to arrive within 2 weeks. We will confirm when they arrive. Please feel free to come into the gallery in South Melbourne and watch the artists at work.
